Mik's Blog

Welcome To My Portfolio!

I’m Mik, a graphic designer who loves bold, expressive visuals and to create branding. I’m looking to grow as an in-house designer, working closely with a team to shape a brand’s identity and create design that’s memorable, engaging, and full of personality.

The OSHI Project

In this project I created a rebrand for a non-profit organisation based in Hull named “OSHI”. After reviewing their website I felt that it was too cold and clinical so I created a warmer version along with various other assets.

The University Of Hull Project

Here I created a advertisement for the graphics course in the University Of Hull.

The Fabula Telecommunications Project

In this project I created a logo for a fictional brand named “Fabula”. Showcasing fluid communication represented through the wax inside a lava lamp.

The Personal Identity Project

The personal identity project showcases an attempt at a personal brand using a sc-fi theme.

The Eco-Future Project

The Eco-Future project showcases various assets such as a logo, advertisements and TikToks created for a fictional green energy brand.

The Optical Art Project

This was a small project to create a logo and piece of art using illustrator which must include optical illusions.

The Earth-First Project

This project features three magazine covers and three double page spread layouts for a fictional company “Earth-First” which has a logo inspired by the art of Kintsugi.
